Assisted in organizing and overseeing activities such as homecoming, various Red Cross blood drives, the annual Mr. Buena Pageant,
and more. Helped to create the school’s first renaissance program, “The Buena Games.” Re-developed the school’s pep rally to
engage and promote school spirit and pride amongst not only athletes but all students in Fall, 2016, and the new pep rally format is still
used today.

SCIENCE DEPARTMENT SUBJECT AREA COORDINATOR, BUENA, NEW JERSEY 2016 – Present
Appointed to position in order to help relay and communicate information between administrators and members of the science
department. Gained experience in communicating positively and effectively with administrators and colleagues as well as organizing

GOVERNOR’S EDUCATOR OF THE YEAR, BUENA REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL – 2017
Nominated by colleagues to receive the GEotY award. Taught AP Biology for the first time in over 10 years at BRHS. Helped to create
our school’s first “renaissance program” called the Buena Games. Re-designed the school Pep Rally to be more student centered.
Continuously working to build pride among the student body, school faculty/staff, and community regarding our school and its student.
