Part I: Activity
Please answer the following:

1. Select a Bible verse that encourages you in your life’s journey. Reflect the meaning of
the bible verse in relation to your life experiences. What does this mean to you as son
or daughter, brother or sister, friend or neighbor?

For me, I’ll choose this bible verse in Jude 1:23 to save others,
snatching them out of the fire; and on some have mercy with fear,
hating even the garment polluted by the flesh. This bible verse is really
meaningful to me because when I received my holy name which is
rescued to rescue, it is connected to this bible verse that is why I chose
this verse. The meaning of it is you are rescued to rescue more people
from committing sin, in negative decision making etc. When I was in 8th
grade I was really into the world like I don’t care what people think of me
as long as I do anything that I think of, not minding if it is right or wrong.
Also, I don’t have any reason to continue living a life because I feel so
useless and dreamless. Not until I joined christian church which led me
to continue on living while believing that God exists in every part of the
world. When I first heard the verse I don’t know what was the meaning
of it but when my church leader explained it to me it feels like this verse
is God’s message to me because He knows what I feel and think
everyday. He really said to me that now that I’m saved from the cruelty
of the world, now it’s my time to rescue those in need of God and it
means to me that I have a purpose.

2. Choose one HCDC Core value that you would like to advocate and identify those
characteristics that may contribute in your journey as Holy Crossian that which you
could proudly say “I AM HOLY CROSS”.
 I would choose Justice to advocate because every person living in this
world deserves justice. Many people living in this world, especially
those who are poor, experience injustices especially in tragedy, laws
etc. I really love to help people even if it can cause me a lot. I don’t care
if I have no money in my pocket as long as I have coins to give to those
beggars in the street. I’m a great listener, especially to my friends who
are facing challenges in life or are heartbroken. I’m very understanding
and everything is okay to me as long as it’s good for the person. I
always pray for people that God may guide them in every path they
would take and that made me think and proudly say that I am holy
cross.

What main ideas, concepts and experiences did I Which part of the activity that I want further
find most meaningful and relevant today? information and/or clarification?

Magic happens in the Christmas season. Since none, everything is clear and I understand the
Christmas is coming I thought of this because activity well.
some people really don’t celebrate Christmas
because of the negativity they’ve experienced but
I would like to tell them to keep on believing in
God because is there and knows what you’ve
been facing.maybe not today but in christmas God
have a plans for you.
What helped me learn today? What hindered me from learning today?
