If you could cure any disease, what would it be?

If I could cure any disease, I would choose cancer. This disease is one of the leading causes of
death nowadays. Cancer is a progressive disease, which degenerates health to the point of not
having any kind of quality of life. This disease usually starts in a specific organ, then spreads
through all systems. The mechanisms of cancer are very complex and have not yet been
understood by science, so there are no completely effective treatments or cures. Existing
treatments usually vary in effectiveness, depending on the stage of the cancer and the organs that
are affected. In addition, the cancer diagnostic system is not effective. Usually, this disease is
diagnosed in very advanced stages, decreasing the probabilities that a functional treatment can be
administered. Cancer is a disease that has affected humanity for years, its aggressiveness and
rapid degeneration of health make it a major public health problem.
