Conclusion

Thank you Lindzay and Daniel.

Now, I will be presenting to you the Conclusion of our study.

1. It is concluded that majority of the respondents, from third year

and fourth year are mostly females and respondents are in their
third-year level.

2. First factor is our learning style, this data shows that

kinesthetic style in studying is the dominant learning style for
most of the respondents. It may also be concluded that majority
of respondents were unimodal because of having only one dominant
learning style. Overall, findings showed that their trust and
awareness of the importance of this factor influences their
preparedness for the licensure examinations.

3. Moreover, for our retention policy. With its grand mean of 2.82,
it is agreed by the respondents that our institution and the
college of accountancy’s policy can influence the students’
preparedness. It can also be observed here that grades as one of
the policies, is strongly connected with their preparedness,
qualifying examinations as a determinant if students are
qualified to continue the said program compared with mock boards
examinations, is hereby agreed to by the respondents and
inevitably affects their readiness for the board exams.
Meanwhile, it shows disagreement in mock boards examination that
is concluded that it does not necessarily affect the student’s
preparedness. Overall, students believes that the importance of
and their confidence in satisfying the retention policy stated
influences their preparedness.

4. Next is our self-motivation factors. as we can notice with this

factor, it was strongly agreed that it is influencing their
readiness in taking the licensure examination resulting to 3.35
grand mean. Findings showed that respondents have great personal
motivation to succeed, they are willing to work hard to meet
their objectives. Furthermore, it showed that students are
optimistic for every challenge as it resulted that they have high
mental aptitude in taking it. Overall, students are highly
motivated and conscious of how their confidence and the
importance of this factor impacts with their readiness for the
board exams.
5. For our conclusion with time management, it is concluded that
respondents perceived this as one of the contributing factors
that influence because based on our result, it is clearly agreed
by the respondents, meaning they have great control over their
time, thus they are managing their time effectively and
efficiently for their tasks and primarily for their study. It
also indicates that they have seen the importance of and their
confidence in managing their time with the preparedness in taking
the licensure examinations.

6. And last factor for our conclusion, we have the social support
factor, which is again strongly agreed by the respondents, same
with self-motivation but it can be observed that this factor
receives the highest grand mean of 3.46 which can be concluded
that it greatly influences their preparedness in taking the
licensure examination. Having both family and friends beside them
during their study and acknowledging its importance and being
confident with this factor improves their performance in academe.

Recommendation

The last part of our presentation, the recommendations of our research

study it is solely based on the findings with highest results.

1. In our learning style, we recommend the continuous employment

of the kinesthetic learning style which has been rated to be
more practiced than the other styles of learning. Hence, the
teachers could competently demonstrate the concepts being
applied in the real-world issues using examples or videos
showing how it is done.

2. For our retention policy, students may always think about

aiming for higher grades greater than the cut off grades
because in this case, even if they fail to achieve the said
cut off, they won’t fall at the lowest point. Students may
also exert a lot of effort in preparation for the qualifying
examination as this examination determines if the students are
still qualified to continue the program. Lastly, teachers and
administration could implement a just and transparent system
to track the grades for students to know where they must
improve themselves.

3. Moving on, for our self-motivation factor. Students may

continue practicing themselves to learn new skills and take on
challenging works as this will help them keep motivated and
increase their preparedness. Students may also keep in their
minds the importance of being wholly dedicated and persevere
in achieving the title of Certified Public Accountant. Lastly,
students could practice taking initiative in taking advantage
of opportunities given.

4. Another factor is our time management, which we recommend that

students may continue to practice pre-crastination in
performing their task because it is the practice of executing
a task in the fastest way possible, obviously, it is the
antonyms of procrastination. Students may also develop habit
of being motivated to start and continue their study according
to their timetable as this will keep them organized with their
study.

5. For our final factor, social support factor. It is recommended

that students may continuously choose the perfect fitting
circle of friends as this will be a significant source of
social support and will assists them in maximizing their
potential as a student, with this group, students can conduct
group studies to discuss difficult lessons in a way they can
learn it effectively. Another one is for parents, as they may
set appropriate boundaries and expectation for their children
to eliminate pressure that may impact student’s performance
and parents may express their belief to their children’s
performance to fully encourage them to go above and beyond the
desired academic outcomes.

6. And finally, for future researchers. they may widen the

population in future investigations, they may include the
higher year level irregular students and may also examine the
graduated students and Certified Public Accountants. Future
researchers could also go further by investigating other
factors that may influence student’s preparedness in taking
the Licensure Examinations.
Scope and Delimitation

Scope – the coverage of the study

Delimitation – the variables not included / boundary

Thank you, Ms. Quijano. So, for our Scope and Delimitation part.
Our research is particularly focused with the third year and fourth
year bsa students of our institution, general de jesus college. as we
can notice, our study is limited for general de jesus college only
because, we, researchers aim to specifically understand the perception
of the college students of our institution, it is for the
administration to be familiarized and fully understand how respondents
perceived different factors mentioned earlier in preparing for the
inevitable licensure examinations.

One thing that is noticeable too is that we didn’t acquire our

senior irregular students’ perception with this study even if they may
have encountered the same factors, the reason is that irregular
students consider different factors now unlike with our respondents.
we want this study to be conducted within the same ground, same
mentality and timely experiences shared by our respondents.

Furthermore, the findings of our study is generated through the

online survey questionnaires, it is limited only to what is asked and
within the researchers’ awareness of probable answers thus, it may not
wholly cover respondents’ possible answers and direct perception.

Interpretation

1st slide: “Time Management”

Time management, as regarded in the study of adams and blair, it

is defined as the perceived control of time. Meaning, it is one’s
capacity to control the 24-hour time a day. Stated in this study is
that when a person have a great control over his time, he may
significantly achieve a more balanced life. Thus, time should be
considered as one of the most important resources in college journey.

2nd slide:

Presented herewith is the result of the respondents’ responses in

time management as a factor, overall, this indicates a positive
conclusion that most of the students agreed with the statements that
measures their effective and efficient management of time. It can be
observed that item seven acquired the highest weighted mean, this can
only be interpreted that respondents are working hard not to
procrastinate, as stated in the study of ocak and boyraz,
procrastination is one of the many struggles that a college students
may encounter, they states that time management may be one of the
reasons for it; poor time management results to procrastination,
meanwhile when a student have an effective time management,
procrastination is limited. and now for our lowest weighted mean, it
is item eight which indicates that they are not easily distracted by
any kind of interruptions, may it be social interactions or within
their gadgets this suggests that students have enough self-control in
using their phones and socializing during their study hours.

3rd slide:

Next, I’ll be discussing table 24 which is about the respondents’

implications in their preparedness. It clearly shows that time
management factor affects with their preparation in licensure
examinations as this is agreed by the respondents. Item number one is
agreed by the respondents, this just indicates that they are confident
with how they manage their time; for study or for an activity that is
greatly influencing their preparedness with the said examinations.
This corresponds with bandura’s self-efficacy theory, that an
individual’s CONFIDENCE in his capabilities – capability let’s say to
manage his time effectively and efficiently, greatly influences his
motivations and actions to succeed. Item number two is about their
awareness of the importance of the said factor, and it is also agreed
by the respondents. acknowledging the importance of time management
ensures balance, boosts confidence and eliminates panic in preparation
for an examination as stated in an article from Miami University.
Effective means "producing a result that is wanted". Efficient means
"capable of producing desired results without wasting materials, time,
or energy".

Time should be considered one of the most important resources in

university life.
