EAST COWTON PARISH COUNCIL

Councillors are hereby summoned and Members of the Public

invited to attend
the meeting of the Parish Council
on Monday 12th December 2022 at 7.30pm in the Village Hall.

This meeting is convened speci cally by the Chairman to consider planning matters for which
reporting dates or commentary expire before the proposed date of the next meeting. All other
matters, including the approval of the Minutes of 14th November 2022, will be carried to the next
meeting.

Planning Matters

Correspondence received from a planning consultant in connection with proposed submission of

a planning application regarding a development on land to the north of The Old School, East
Cowton.

I write to you as Parish Clerk, please refer the letter to the Parish Council.

X has been engaged by Y to provide planning advice, support and guidance in the preparation and
submission of a planning application to Hambleton District Council regarding the proposal to
provide a small development of bungalows on land to the north of The Old School, East Cowton.
Before nalising the application plans and proceeding to submit the planning application to the
Council, we are taking the opportunity to notify the Parish Council and local residents of the draft
proposals and seek comments on the draft proposals. Local councillors (District and County) have
also been noti ed of the draft proposals and their views sought. Attached to this letter is a copy of
the letter delivered to local residents living near to the site.
