Abstract:

In this project an unique approach to electricity generation form roads using multiple sources is
followed. The system consists of harnessing the electricity from crowded roads using multiple sources.
The diagram of the system to be designed and fabricated is as shown in the figure below.

In this project electricity is generated using multiple methods, One is using the speed breakers. When
the car passes over the speed breakers the rack and mechanism placed under the ground converts the
linear displacement of speed breaker to rotary motion of generator to generate electricity. The other
approach is to use unique sliding rolling mechanism. When the car passes over the rollers the rollers
rotate sliding the car forward. The mechanical energy generated by rollers is used to drive the generator
using drive train thereby generating electricity.
