DESCRIPTION:
Thinly sliced bananas, either lengthwise or across are used to make banana chips. These
slices are placed in pouches that are firmly sealed after being deep-fried in hot oil. They are
available in salted, sweetened, and banana essence-flavored varieties. The banana chips in are
crisp and bright yellow in color and smell and taste like bananas. There are 374 calories in a
single serving. Despite the fact that this food contains fiber and a few vitamins and minerals,
the fat, calorie, and sugar intake quickly outweigh these benefits.

INGREDIENTS:
4 green (unripe) plantains (sliced into thin rounds and washed), peeled
2 cups cooking oil
Salt to taste
Garlic powder

PROCEDURE:
1. Peel the banana and slice it thinly, and place in the container with water to
dissolve the resin for 30 minutes.
2. Heat oil in a pan and while heating oil, take garlic and slice it as thin as a banana
3. When the oil is hot, fry the thinly sliced banana and garlic and wait for it to turn
golden before transferring it to bowl to drain the oil and to cool down.
4. When it’s cold, it can be put in containers to be sold and eaten.
