Diary of a wimpy kid : Wrecking Ball

Summary

The book I read is called "Diary of a wimpy kid: Wrecking Ball" and it's about Greg Heffley's
family and their failed attempts at renovating their home.

After Greg's family receives an unexpected inheritance from their aunt Reba, his family decides
that they are going to start renovating their home. However, after the walls are destroyed, all
sorts of problems start appearing, like : rodents and bees invading the house, rotten wood and
mold plaguing the house and a hot tub crashing through the house.

Jeff Kinney (born February 19,1971) is an American cartoonist and author, born in Maryland. He
has 2 children and has been married since 2003.He studied at the University of Maryland and
while he was there created the comic strip Igdoof. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to get his comic
published after college. He then started writing the book Diary of a Wimpy Kid in 2007 and the
book became an instant bestseller, fascinating kids all around the world.

Personally, I enjoyed this book a lot because it has a ton of amusing moments ( like at the end,
when the jacuzzi crashes through the house) and because the characters are relatable.
