Osher Rainforest

December 8th, 2022

My friends and I went to the Osher Rainforest. We walked through the whole thing and

left with a butterfly on my friends back. I learned that the dome is 90 feet high and it’s

glass. It was very humid inside. The higher we got the more humid it would get, and the

more humid, the more butterfly’s we saw. The butterfly’s stayed in the more humid area

which i thought was interesting. When we got to the 4th story there was a butterfly

everywhere we looked, and they got very close to us. My friends doesn’t like butterfly’s

att all so we had to leave kinda quick. But when we were in the elevator to go to the

aquarium we saw a butterfly on her back and she freaked out. I enjoyed the Rainforest

a lot, i thought it was a fun experience.

This was a good opportunity for anyone who would want to work with wildlife or

anywhere in a forest like area. It gave a good experience of being close to live animals.

Does it actually feel that humid in a rainforest? I find it interesting how the animals in the

little boxes can survive in that habitat, I personally don’t think it’s fair to them. I enjoyed

that experience but i could never have a career like that. I wouldn’t be able to stay in the

humid, and the thought of animals touching me is a no, but it’s a great opportunity for

anyone who wants to do something like that.

Methuselah is believed to be the oldest aquarium fish in the world.
