What is Racial Profiling?

Racial profiling can be simply defined as having a predetermined judgement of a person soley
due to the color of their skin.

Do you believe that he was stopped because of racial profiling?

Yes, I believe that he was stopped due to racial profiling. As, in an area where speeding is
common, a stop on a person going “slightly in excess of the posted limit”, would not usually
have been stopped. Furthermore, the credibility of the arresting officer is brought to question as
seen through the trial.

It is evident that the judge had suggested an apology due to a prejudice that they hold against
POC. Through that comment and various others that can be observed, this assumption
becomes fact.
