STAFFING
• Staffing refers to the process of finding the right employee with
appropriate qualifications or experience and recruiting them to
fill a position/ role/ job/organizational vacancies.
• Staffing is an important function as it ensures efficient
performance of all other management functions.
• All other management functions are performed by skilled and
experienced human resources.
• Staffing involves recruitment and deployment of quality
personnel in various positions across an organization.
Meaning of Staffing in Management

• Staffing is an operation of recruiting the employees by


evaluating their skills, knowledge and then offering them
specific job roles accordingly.

• Definition: Staffing can be defined as one of the most important


functions of management. It involves the process of filling the
vacant position of the right personnel at the right job, at right
time. Hence, everything will occur in the right manner.
Purpose of Staffing
• Staffing is an HR function, involves Human Resource Planning,
Recruitment, Screening, Selection and identifying the right person for the
job.

• Purpose of staffing is to simultaneously help a job seeker to find a job,


and find a qualified candidate for the organization to achieve its goals.

• It is very important that each and every person who seek job should get
right position in the organization so as to get the right job, according to
their ability, talent, aptitude, and specializations.
