I understand that the Washoe County Office of the County Manager considers maintaining the security and confidentiality of confidential information of high priority. | further understand that all paperwork observed and discussions conducted in my presence are considered confidential information. I agree that I will not: 1, Seek to read or copy any confidential information I may encounter while at the Washoe ‘County Office of the County Manager; 2. Remove any confidential information from the premises; 3. Seek to benefit or permit others to benefit personally from using any confidential information obtained by the Washoe County Office of the County Manager; 4. Search out and read any case in the case file system {including UNITY, electronic files, or other applications) that the Washoe County Office of the County Manager has not approved ‘as part of my specific assigned duties or tasks; or without a specific agency business need. By signing this agreement, [ acknowledge that failing to comply with these terms is a violation of policy and a potential violation of NRS, including but not limited to NRS 432B.170, 432B.280, 432B.407, and 432B.4095. I further understand that I am prohibited from reviewing confidential Washoe County Office of the County Manager files, documents or procedures without an identifiable business reason, and any violation of this agreement may subject me to disciplinary action, up to, and including termination, In addition, 1 understand that any violation of this agreement may subject me to further investigations which could lead to criminal prosecution.
