NAVYUG ENGLISH MEDIUM SCHOOL CBSE, LADAVALI

Dear Parents/Carers,

We are pleased to say that we will be holding a Sports Week event under FIT

INDIA INITIATIVE by CBSE, at NEMS this year. This will take place on the

school grounds. Pupils will remain in school after their Sports Days and will

be collected at the normal times.

When is Sports Week?

We have had to split the event across 3 days:

Monday 12th -

Wednesday 14th

December

What should children bring?

Children should come to school wearing their regular school uniforms on the

day of their Sports Day. Please have them carry their own spoon and

lemon(lemon-spoon race) for their individual races, keeping personal hygiene

in mind. Please make sure they bring a water bottle and hand towels. An extra

tiffin could be packed with snacks, should the pupils feel famished, after their

work-out.
What activities will there be?

The children will follow a carousel of events that they have been learning in

class. They will be given a team on the day. The list of games are as follows:

Langdi

30m Race

Lemon Spoon Race

Frog Jump Race

Balloon Popping Game
