SNOW BLOWER MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS To attach the snow blower to a Melroe Bobcat please observe the following procedure: 1. Temporarily remove the snow blower gas tank from its mounting brackets. Slip attachment mounting frame into place, aligning holes in bracket with holes in reinforcing rib of snow blower. NOTE: When assembling the attachment mounting bracket to a 5' snow blower, the six spacers are to be placed between the bracket and the snow blower support rib. However, on a 6! snow blower the spacers are to be placed on the bolt only to take up some of the bolt length. 3. Bolt bracket securely to snow blower, using six 1/2" NC x 3-1/2" hex screws lock washers and hex nuts. Relocate gas tank above mounting bracket. Along bottom of tank mark and drill two 17/32" holes in snow blower support rib. Bolt tank securely to snow blower. U: the extension strap provided secure the top mounting hole of tank to snow blower. farter solenoid, 5. Connect male half of battery cable to snow blower engine 6. Connect female half of battery cable to Bobcat engine starter solenoid. Route cable along left boom arm of Bobcat so when boom is raised the cable will remair. attached to it. Insert starter button-in left instrument panel of Bobcat and attach wires, Connect other end of starter wire to starter button on snow blower engine. Both the battery cable and starter wire have a quick attach plug for your convenience. 9. Attach snow blower to Bobcat and insert tilt cylinder lock brackets, shown in illustra. tion.
