How do you define urban connectivity?

Look at these definitions, not mine:

Connectivity (or permeability) refers to the directness of links and the density of
connections in a transport network. Roadway Connectivity refers to the density of
connections in a path or road network and the directness of links. A well-connected road
or path network has many short links, numerous intersections, and minimal dead-ends.

Urban connectivity is about how we design the structure of a city or a community where
there will be a connection of multiple realms that will be essential for a sustainable, livable
and economically, socially and environmentally accessible. It is the urban form of the
interrelationship between transportation, infrastructure, the people, and the
environment.

Urban connectivity choreographs mobility and accessibility. Mobility is when how far a
person can go in a given amount of time and accessibility is when how many places a
person visits or can get in to in a certain amount of time, Thus, urban connectivity is the
directness of a person’s trip. It does not only describes the mode of transportation a
person uses, like the emphasize on motorized travel and it’s speed, or how large or
straight the infrastructure (I.e., airports, bridges, highways) is to accommodate high-speed
travel. It also describes a situation like a simple walk to a neighborhood store, where one
can view and appreciate his surrounding as he reaches his destination. Unlike when you
are riding on a car to the supermarket where one might lost the view especially when the
car is moving fast, a simple walk may experience a mix of emotions upon seeing the
surrounding; pleasure and annoyance, a feeling of pride or insecurity, or a sense of
entitlement or exclusion. Or we can say that urban connectivity is urban geography of
networked flow, the inclusion of the location, structure, environment, and network
developments including the analysis of the movement of goods and people (Black 1989).
