THE PHILIPPINES

COVID-19 is also known as “Corona Virus Disease 2019” or nCoV 2019

“Novel Corona Virus 2019”, this virus named corona virus because it is look like a
crown. This virus was spreading quickly because it is airborne which means it can
be easily obtained by breathing in the air when there is a nearby infected that
sneezed and also with a direct contact in a person. A person that has a corona virus
disease can be identified when he/she show symptoms like cough, fever and
breathing problems. This virus was originated from Wuhan, China and they say this
virus was from bats. This virus has spread rapidly and it has also reached our
country, the Philippines and there are already confirmed cases here that’s why
many government authorities are having their full force operation to prevent this
virus from spreading here in the Philippines, but what about the OFW from China
that came back here in Philippines because of the virus? Can they still return to the
Philippines? What if they are also infected?

“If you are from China, you have a corona virus” that is the word that in the
mind of all persons because China is the origin of the virus but it doesn’t mean that
even the OFW from China was also infected because they came from China that’s
why many people are scared to encounter a person who is came from China, yes the
OFWs came from that country to work and earn money but there is no evidence
that they’re also infected unless they have shown the symptoms of the virus and
show positive when they took the examination.

The OFWs also need to be quarantined once they are from a country that has
a case of coronavirus example of this was the 30 OFWs from Wuhan, China that has
been quarantined in Capas after a flight from China to Philippines and even these 30
OFWs have shown no symptoms, the DOH still maintained the code blue alert on all
government health facilities to ensure the safety of all.

There is also a case that some of the OFWs are trapped in a place or country
that their working at, because some country also have a total deployment ban to
prevent the case of growing volume of infected person of the coronavirus disease
which means even in our out of the country cannot have a flight, even here in
Philippines because government gave a command for a total deployment ban that’s
why there is some of the OFWs can’t come here in Philippines

We all know that this happening in our country like total deployment ban can
affect the entry of all OFWs in our country when they want to go home, but we all
know that this only doing of government authorities and officials for the safety of all
citizens of the Philippines because of the outbreak of the coronavirus, that’s why it
needs a strong security to be sure that they can prevent the virus from spreading to
all citizens of our country the Philippines.

As a conclusion, strong security and proper process of examination for those

who are affected and shown a symptoms of the disease is the key to have a sure
safety of all the people and prevent the virus from spreading that’s why even the
government authorities gets its full force on preventing this disease, is it’s okay just
to make sure that all of the people of the Philippines are safe.
