Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-COV-2) better known as the

corona virus is a new type of coronavirus that is contagious to humans. The virus can attack
anyone, both infants, children, adults, elderly, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers.
The corona virus or Covid-19 wast first discovered in Wuhan, China in late 2019. The
spread of the virus that has not found the antidote until uncontrolled. Already 200 more countries
in the world have reported cases of exposure to the corona virus.
The rapid spread of this virus in Indonesia because many residents do not follow the call
to stay at home. An increase in the number of positive cases is becoming a thousand in Indonesia
due to transmission outside (residents home). In fact, the government instructed the community
one of them to do social distancing or keep a distance. If these instructions are not obeyed, the
risk of transmission will increase.
Corona Virus Transmission or COVID-19
The corona virus is transmitted through COVID-19 positive human mucus which jumps
to COVID-19 negative humans. The mucus splashes when positive humans COVID-19 sneezes,
choughs, or talks and is exposed to other negative people.
Self Prevention
Every citizen has a role to break then chain of corona virus spread or COVID-19. The
method is like the government instructions, which are: doing social distancing and not leaving
the house. Workers are encouraged to work from home. And to always maintain cleanliness by
always washing hand with soap in running water before carrying out any activity.
The government has also taken steps to prevent corona virus, such as:
1. Providing several thermo-scanner units at international arrivals doors at various airports.
2. The government bans Indonesian airline flights to China.
3. Urge to replace Friday pray with noon pray at home. That refers to the fatwa from the
MUI.
4. The government also calls for the worship of all religions to be done at home.
5. Finally, people are advised not to go home for lebaran. This is prevent vulnerable parents
from contracting the corona virus.
