What is the most important social or political

event in your country?

One of the most important events in my country today is the Covid 19
pandemic. The coronavirus pandemic and the need for social distancing
has disrupted many lives. The origin of this virus originated from Wuhan
city in China. And it is found in bats. Then the virus quickly spread around
the world with severe consequences. Usually this virus will incubate for 10
to 14 days. Because of the long incubation period moreover signs of
suspected infection are not clear so the disease becomes even more
dangerous when people do not know they have been infected and they can
move to many public places, making the spread faster. People infected with
this virus are diagnosed with symptoms such as low-grade fever, sore
throat, dry cough, diarrhea, even difficulty breathing and then there is
pneumonia, which quickly leads to death. However, the Center for Disease
Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) do recommend that
everyone take basic steps to prepare for coronavirus so fewer people get
sick. For instance, wash your hands for 20 seconds with soap and water,
keep your hands away from your eyes, nose, and mouth, avoid shaking
hands with other people, whether they appear sick or not, wear a cloth
face-covering in public, stay at least 2 meter away from other people when
in public. Because the impact this pandemic has brought is really big on my
country and the world. It has left very serious consequences with a very
high, growing number of deaths. The number of cases in Vietnam is 1060
and there are 35 deaths. And currently there is no vaccine in the world that
can control this virus. This is not only the biggest concern in my country but
also the world.
