The disease started from Wuhan, Central
Hubei province of China and has now
spread in more than 200 countries in
the world. The outbreak was first
reported in Wuhan, China, on 31
December 2019.
The World Health Organization (W.H.O)
declared the outbreak a Public Health
Emergency of International Concern
on 30 January 2020, and a pandemic
on 11 March 2020.
Corona Viruses are named
for crown-like spikes known
as epitops on their surface.
There are 4 subgroups of
corona virus. These are:-
1.Alpha
2.Beta
3.Gamma
4.Delta
Incubation period up to 0-
14 days
COVID-19 virus can last upto
4 to5 weeks in some critical
cases.
Sign and symptoms
The virus causes mild to
moderate symptoms after
infection in most cases, such
as, fever, dry cough,and
fatigue. The infection is for
both upper respiratory tract
and lower respiratory tract.
Covid – 19 has affected every being in one way
or the other.
No one is left untouched by the effect of covid
whether it be old persons , school going
children , young people, rich or poor , urban or
rural. It has affected all it did not discriminate in
any way.
Life has turned upside down due to covid.
Many suffered from the disease. Many suffered
due to the lockdown which was necessary to
control covid infection. Many worked hard day
and night. Salute to those who worked as
frontliners and also a big salute to the mothers
whose worked doubled during this time.
There are people who suffered , who worked
hard but there are people who used this
lockdown time as opportunity.
It was not at all easy but together we did it.
Although there is a long way back to the normal
life but we will definitely rise and shine. Do take
care of yourself and your loved ones. Follow all
the necessary precautions.
