COVID 19
The novel coronavirus is a new strain of coronavirus that has not been previously identified
in humans. The novel coronavirus has caused severe pneumonia in several cases in China and has
been exported to a range of countries and cities. Last February 12, 2020, the World Health
Organization (WHO) announced that the novel disease is officially called Coronavirus Disease 19 or
COVID-19, and the virus infecting it is referred to as COVID-19 virus.

Covid 19 is a virus that can easily be transmitted from person to person. The earliest known
cases had a link to a wholesale food market in Wuhan, China. It is believed to have zoonatic
origin and has close genetic similarity to bat coronaviruses, suggesting it emerged from a bat-
borne virus. People with Covid 19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported ranging from
mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days of exposure to the virus. It is
better to have a 14 days quarantine when you have been exposed to the virus. People that has
this symptoms like fever or illness, cough, headache, shortness of breathing, sore throat, lost of
taste when eating, and many more may have the virus called Covid 19. Some may not show
these symptoms.

The global pandemic has taken a toll from everyone. It is better for us to stay at home to
also help our frontliners. Our frontliners plays a big role in our society nowadays, they are
working all day just to help people who got infected by the virus. During this time many people
may suffer anxiety, stress and it can drain our mental health. It is okay to feel anxious or fearful
during this pandemic or during this time. Some people during this pandemic may experience a
lot of difficulties because of loss of jobs and many more. Not everyone is as privilege as the
others. During this time its all about privilege.

Therefore, Covid 19 has been a threat to many people, many have lost their loved ones,
had lost their jobs and many more. We should take this time to focus on ourselves and take
care of our mental health. Do things that makes you happy and take time to rest. It is better to
stay at home because we never know when and where this virus is. By staying at home we can
help out frontliners.during this pandemic.following the safety protocols is a big help nowadays.
