When brothers agree, no fortress is as strong as their common life

How powerful is your relationship with your own family members? Probably one of the strongest
connections between humans, is created within the bloodline relatives, especially between the siblings,
as they are taught by their parents to cooperate during their period of development, therefore nothing
can separate them spiritually in life.

I would like to begin with the fact that, it’s a part of our own nature to take care of those who share the
same blood as us, which already makes us trust them and share the affection and trust towards our
siblings. On top of that, we are educated to take care of those closest to us, so spending years growing
up together with your brother can strengthen the connection between both of you, by passing over the
obstacles in life and supporting each other during the hardest time.

Furthermore, what does actually make the fortress between family members literally unbreakable after
years? Despite the fact that someone can have different visions on life than their closest peers, the
values they’ve enhanced together during the passage of time, such as cooperation, friendship, trust,
tolerance and respect, always keeps that “fortress” ready to resist against the toughest attacks. For
instance, Tom from “The Ant and the grasshopper” by W. Somerset Maugham was always saved by his
brother George, although he didn’t pay back with the same amount of help towards him.

On balance, there is nothing more powerful than the spiritual link, which enhances over the years,
between you and your siblings. I strongly believe that the interconnection with our brothers relates on
the blood which we share and that the more we’ve known each other the bigger the “fortress” built by
us will be.
