hy Elderly people always Complain about the Youth? It's because there is

a significant change in Generations. They always suppose that the youth

Should be like them, but it is somewhat impossible. Being members of

different generations, People of my age are quite different from people of my parents age in

Several ways.

The first difference between people of my age and people of my parents age is with their

goals and marriage Status. People of my parents age only had had a simple goal. Generally,

they want to get married and to have many Children. Once they married, they never divorce.

For instance, my grandparents Celebrated their 50 years anniversary last year since they have

developed strong interrelationship both physically and mentally. On the Contrary, people of my

age have more Complex goal. They want to be educated and graduated from university in order

to have a good Professional work. Moreover, their attitude towards marriage is unwise. Usually,

they marry and divorce many times. Researches shown that the divorce rate Per 1 thousand

married women is nearly double that of 1960. For example in USA, there is I divorce per 42

seconds now. While reading this essay, at least 3 divorces in one country, USA. Therefore, the 2

generations are different by their goals and marriage status.

The other difference between people of my age and my parents age is with their values and

beliefs People of my parents age are more spiritual and respectful for social norms. For

instance, when they were youth, they never used to sit in the bus while an old person is

standing. They let him to sit without his request. Also, they help the elderly people as much as
they can. If they See an old woman bringing food Staff from market to home in the street,

they'll take it and bring to her home to get her blessing, "God bless you, my son!". On the other

hand, people of my age don’t worry about social norms and spirituality. They put up themselves

with old people and compete with them. Rather than knowing and respecting their own

country's culture and tradition, they are much more attracted to other countries culture, and

they perform it without knowing why the sources of this culture do it. Few years ago, there

were two friends, and They went to celebrate their country’s national holiday at in the

enormous stadium of the city. When they met, the one with modern cloth laughed at his

cultural cloth. Then, he went to other friends, who wore modern like him. As he was going, the

one with cultural cloth Saw his back and started to laugh at him by its round. Then he asked him

why he laughed and he told him the meaning of the quote at his shirt, that it was "I'm Pregnant

take care of me." So, the two generations are also like chalk and cheese with their attitude

towards social norms and spirituality.

In the final analysis, People of my age are dissimilar with people of my parents age in their

Values, customs, beliefs, goals and spirituality. But it's good when new Generations continue

good things of past generations and avoid wrong things of former generations instead of

decimating all cultures inherited from those generations psychologically or physically.
