Problem:
In this lab, we will minimize the mass of the robotic arm link which we made in lab10, we use
lab 10 3 d model and apply topology on it and try to reduce extra mass from robotic arm but
there is limitation ,stress never get high then 250MPa.
2. Idealization
We get this model from ansys softwere after applying topology for mass reduction
3. Geometric model
We extrude 15mm.Reduce sharp edges for good stress distribution
4. Material model
The material is structural steel.
5. Structural Optimization:
We provided following optimization conditions with mass minimization .
8. Discussion
The max Directional Deformation is 0.68 mm and the minimum is -0.00090527mm
The max equivalent stress is 61.893 MPa and minimum is 0.0049802 MPa.
