Far Eastern University is pledged to providing a safe, peaceful, and organized campus

environment that fosters growth on both a personal and academic level. By establishing norms
of conduct designed to promote conduct that is commensurate with professional and
educational settings, students that choose to enroll at the university are held to high
expectations. In order to maintain a scholarly environment, students must act appropriately. All
students are required to put out significant effort in their studies, respect for authority, adhere
closely to the policies and procedures of the University, and always act courteously. After
following the proper procedures, the administration reserves the authority to expel or suspend
any student who disobeys the university's academic standards or breaks any of its rules and
regulations. It also reserves the right to move their name from the list of candidates for
graduation and/or withhold their diploma. As a first-year student, I should be allowed to pursue
my education without experiencing discrimination due to my racial background, nationality,
sexual preference, civil status, skin color, gender, age, and physical ability. At Far Eastern
University, it is the duty of every employee, professor, and student to foster an environment
where everyone is treated equally, with respect, and in a dignified manner. Students are
accountable for the costs associated with their choices. In the same way, as a student I have
responsibilities regarding my legal rights as well. All students, graduate and undergraduate, who
register for a class in person, online, at a Campus Center, or through FEU must abide by these standards.
Furthermore, Student Code of Conduct was established to inspire students to uphold high moral
standards and behave honorably in front of other students, professors, and staff. Its core principle is to
respect oneself and others.
