Classical Art and Modern Art

Modern and classical art are two of the most remarkably different styles of art in
history. Classical art includes some of the oldest examples of art still in existence, and it sets the
standard for artistic beauty that lasted for centuries. Classical art was revered for its sober and
aesthetically pleasing stories. While modern art was rebellious, paradoxical, and often
misunderstood.
Modern and classical art can be distinguished just by one glance at the art.
Modern usually is what the educated and open-minded. And for obvious reason the difference
between these two arts is vast. In fact, it is not just the style of art that has changed but also
the quality of the color, the material used in the art, everything has changed. The difference in
modern and classical art can also tell between the stories. The classical art narrate some sober
and aesthetically pleasing stories whereas the modern art can be paradoxical. The modern art
doesn’t have to narrate the story in chronological order. That is absolutely why only artist who
have the whole knowledge about the subject can pursue and understand it. The modern art
and the contemporary art is the same, both are kind of art that is produced in this generation of
ours. Also, unlike the classical, modern art or contemporary art is not necessarily for a wide
audience. It is only for limited audience who can understand it.
