Script objective
In making this project paper of us, there are plenty of objectives that we wish to highlight and
succeed in which given as below:

 To understand and determine what we have learned in class and utilize it in our daily
life.
 We can improve our mandarin language and can use it in the future.
 Learning mandarin can make ourselves become more confident if someone ask using
mandarin and we can answer them using mandarin too.

SYNOPSIS
This role play tells of a group of student who names Antonia , Priscillakit, Sity and
Charie who are studying at the same university. During lunch break, Antonia and
Priscillakit discuss about their upcoming semester break activities and plan. Priscillakit
invited Antonia to come to her hometown during the semester break. Meanwhile, Sity
and Charie is meeting at the bookstore after class and discuss about their studies at the
university. A few days later, Sity had a computer problem and got help from Charie.

SCENE 1

Antonia (1) : Lai women qu chifan .

Lets go! We’re going to eat .

Pricillakit (1) : Zaoba ! Women yao qu nali chifan?

Let’s go ! Where were we going to eat?

Antonia (2) : Women qu kak Tini kafeiguan chifan, hao ma?

We going to eat at Kak Tini Cafe, can?

Antonia (2) : Hao a, nali de shiwu hen hao chi, ye hen pianyi.
Okay, the food is delicious and I heard the price is cheap .

Pricillakit (3) : Ni yao chi shenme?

What do you want to eat?

Antonia (3) : Wo jianyi chi jifan he .meigui tianyin.

I would like to suggest you chicken rice and rose syrup drink.

Pricillakit (4) : Haode , .zheli de ningmeng jifan hen youming.

Alright , i hope it delicious.

Antonia (4) : Xia zhou xueqi fangjia , ni yao qu nali?

Next week is semester break , do you have any place to go?

Pricillakit (5) : Women qu wo de laojia dui jia , hao ma?

I dont , how about we go to my hometown?

Antonia (5) : Haode . Ni de jiaren hui huanying wo lai ma?

Alright , but can i go to your hometown?

Pricillakit (6) : Hui, wo de jia ren xihuan nimen lai .

Yes ,my family are would love if people come to our house.

Antonia (6) : Hao ba , wo deng buji yao jian wo de jiarenle.

SCENE 2 : AT ANTONIA HOMETOWN
Antonia meet her cousin Pricillakit at her Hometown.

Pricillakit (7) : Ni shenme shihou hui dao lao jia de ne.

When you arrive here ?

Antonia (7) : Wo Zuotian xiawu wu dian cai zuoche hui lao de .

I arrive yesterday using car

Pricillakit (8) : Shi a, zuoche bijiao fangbian. Cong Yabi dao zheli yao duoyuan.
Yes using car more easy and conformable. How far is it from Kota
Kinabalu to here?

Antonia (8) : Dagai 90 gongli.

Less than 90 km.

Pricillakit (9) : Kaiche lai yao duojiu.

How much time to arrive by using car?

Antonia (9) : Dagai si xioshi

About 4 hour

SCENE 3 : MAYBANK

Sity (1) : Nǐ hǎo charie, wǒ zài zhèlǐ. Nǐ zài nǎlǐ?

Hello Charie, I’m here where are you?

Charie (1) : Wǒ zài Malaiya Yinhang tikuan. Wǒ xiànzài jiù qù zhǎo nǐ.
I am withdrawing money at Maybank. I will go to you now.

Sity (2) : Wǒ zài shūdiàn ménkǒu děng nǐ.

I'm waiting for you in front of the bookstore.

Charie (2) : Duìbùqǐ, wǒ wàngle shūdiàn zài nǎ'er.

Sorry, I forgot where the is bookstore.

Sity (3) : Zai Malaiya yinhang . Nǐ xiàng qián zǒu. Jiu huì kàn dào shūdiàn.
Bookstore near Maybank. You walk forward. You will see a bookstore.

Charie(4) : Sity, nǐ zài dàxué lǐ xué de shì shénme kēmù?

Sity, what subject did you study at university?

Sity(4) : Wǒ zài dàxué xuéxí shāngyè guǎnlǐ xì.

I am studying business management department at university.

Charie (5) : Nǐ de xuéxí shíjiān shì shénme shíhòu?

What is your study period?

Sity (5) : 3 Tǎ hóng.

3 Years.

Charie (6) : Wǒ míngbái.

I see.

Sity (6) : Zhù wǒ hǎo yùn!

Come in. The door is open. you can enter.

Sity(8) : Charie, duìbùqǐ, wǒ kěyǐ jiè nǐ de diànnǎo ma?

Charie, sorry, can I borrow your computer?

Charie (8) : Shì de. Nǐ de diànnǎo yǒu shén me wèntí?

Yes. What is the problem with your computer?

Sity (9) : Zhèngzài xiě bàogào de shihou, diànnǎo túrán huàile.

I was writing a report, and the computer suddenly broke down.

Charie (9) : Hěn zaogao! Nǐ yǒu bèifèn wénjiàn ma?

Very bad! Do you have a backup file?

Sity (10) : Shì de. Wǒ hen Xìngyùn wo yǒu bèifèn wénjiàn. Diànnǎo huàile,

Yes. Luckily I have a backup file. The computer is broken and indeed
troublesome.

Then, when will you fix the computer?

Sity (11) : Jīntiān huò míngtiān. Wǒ méiyǒu chē. Nǐ néng song wǒ qù ma?
Today or tomorrow. I don't have a car. Can you send me there?
