QUESTION:01
If you are assigned with the responsibility of Ahmed Foods CEO, highlight 3 steps
that you would take in order to streamline and restructure the organization.
Write down the 3 steps separately with sound reasoning.

ANSWER:
The first thing I'm going to do is reduce my living space. There is a large pool of
unemployed or underemployed workers. It's also important to call out individuals
who aren't cooperating with the bosses. With a more compact and open chain of
command in place, managers would have far less trouble keeping their
subordinates in line. The organization would be revamped to include clearly
delineated roles and responsibilities for each employee, as well as improved
channels of communication and coordination at the managerial level.
As a second action, I will create more options for employees to advance in their
current positions. Employees play a crucial role in any business and may either
make or break the company. Employees feel uninspired by their jobs because
they cannot see their careers progressing. As a result, output falls and employee
turnover is significant. Better incentives and advancement opportunities would
help us keep our best employees and recruit top talent to fill our open roles.

In the third and final stage, product quality is enhanced. Ahmed foods' initial
success can be attributed to their high quality. We need to bring it back by making
it taste better, only utilizing natural ingredients, and conducting TQM measures
once every three months. Further, in order to remain competitive with Shan,
National, and Shangrilla, we need to lower our rates.

QUESTION:02
Do you think if Ahmed Foods and Naurus merge again in to a single unit they can
revive their glorious past? Why or why not?

ANSWER:
In my opinion, Ahmed foods and Naurus can reclaim their former glory by
merging once more. Reasons why are listed below. Because the two companies
appear to be manufacturing the same thing, a merger could lead to increased
output and decreased costs per unit because to economies of scale. They may
make more money, and that money could go back into research and
development. Research and development will allow them to expand their product
line and improve its overall quality. Additionally, Naurus Foods' administration
and personnel are fierce competitors, whereas Ahmed Foods' are ineffective due
to a lack of coordination on the part of upper management. As a result, Ahmed
Foods stands to benefit from the transaction. By working together, they will be
able to effortlessly dominate the market and take a sizable portion of the pie.
As an observer, I can also point out several problems with the union. If Naurus
and Ahmed Foods amalgamated, the resulting company would be very large and
have a complex organizational structure, which could make it challenging for
employees at different levels to effectively communicate and collaborate. Second,
it would negatively impact the company's customers. The more market share they
get, the more monopoly power they will have, and the higher their prices will be.
