Aspects
of
Agrarian
Reform
Economic Aspect
Philippine economy’s reliance on the
agricultural sector- a predominant
industry in the Philippines.

Making the farmers as owners of the

land they till and free them from the
control of the landlords is one method
to motivate the farmers in the increase
of production.
Socio Cultural Aspect
A change of self subsistent mindset to
one of surplus for selling.

Social order in the farmlands started to

improve significantly.

Farmers became more active in

practicing leadership roles.

Farmers were able to send their children

to school. Agrarian program also
promoted modern outlook among
farmers: family planning and economic
awareness.
Religious Aspect

Based on biblical teachings,

God is the owner of the earth.

Filipino farmers rarely found

any help and support from the
church.
