Classroom Layout Question 1: Describe the workflow of the room. Is the space used efficiently? >>>

The classroom consists of two doors, they are meant to be used for entrance and exit points however,
this teacher only utilities one door to ensure she can keep track of who enters and exits. By the door is
the backpack rack, and then a wide open space where the desks sit facing the white board. In the back
of the classroom there is a reading corner which is home to book shelves filled with books separated by
reading level. The spaces in her classroom are used in a rotation manner and generally the students
end up in one area of the room together during certain activities. When they are instructed to engage
with other students they are allowed to spread out around the room and get comfortable on the floor,
desks, the space is used incredibly efficiently and in a way that promotes comfort in learning.

Classroom Layout Question 2: In your opinion, how can the physical arrangement of the room be
improved? >>>
The only improvement I would make would be a better place for the mobile device cart, its
very large and I believe is placed where it is to have access to power so I’m not sure there is
another option for this.
