Observation
A. In the box below, draw the room layout of the class you have observed.
B. Interview the cooperating teacher. Ask the following questions:

1. What can you say about the physical structure of your classroom?
The physical structure of classroom so far was okay and comfortable for each learner
wherein they are comfortable to move.

2. What were the things that you considered when you arranged the classroom?
First, is the ambiance and space for each student considering you are an elementary
teacher space for classroom is necessary since sometimes there are activities inside the
classroom held that needs a space, second is the design in wall, we all know that there are
students who learn through audio-visual learning that is why it is necessary also to
consider the design inside the classroom.

3. What do you think are the advantages and disadvantages of this kind of physical setup?
The advantage of this is students are free to move due to space, while the disadvantage is
the student’s population inside the classroom could be decrease.

Based on what you have observed in class and the teacher’s response on the interview,answer the

1. Do you think that the classroom structure is consistent with the teacher’s objectives?
Why? why not?
2. How does the classroom setup affect the student’s performance and learning?
3. If you were the teacher, what kind of classroom structure would you adopt to maximize
the student’s learning?

1.I realized that the classroom structure should be convenient for learners and teachers.
2. I believe that: setting up a good and eye catchy design for classrooms will be more beautiful in
the eyes of learners.
3. I feel that sometimes students are no longer interested to listen during discussion prior to the
reason that they are not comfortable within classroom set up.
4. when I become a teacher, I will always think of the best way to do or apply inside the
classroom wherein students are comfortable there to stay.
