Example:

Let’s say you want to understand Olympics and its impact through the disciplinary lenses of English and Math.
These are some things you can look at:

- English: Perspective, Communication, Creativity and Connection. Related concepts are Character,
setting, Genre, Purpose, Audience, context, structure, style, etc. Similarly, you should know your
concepts in Math.
- Math: Models, patterns, system, space, etc.
- Familiarity with Text types (learnt in your English classes) is required and be clear about the role of
context, purpose, audience and how form and language changes accordingly
- Revisit mathematical models/statistical/data analysis (learnt in Math classes)
