Why educate patient regarding pen/needle disposal is important?

Insulin pens are not just problematic as plastic pollutant but also can be
considered as medical waste with infectious potential

Current practice of disposing used insulin pens and needles is improper

provide better information and counseling diabetes patients on this topic
