Why the arts should matter

By Jose Y. Dalisay, Jr.

"The humanities enrich," Dr. Jose "Butch" Dalisay Jr. said,They elevate us, and their pursuit
would be worthwhile even if it were not socially advantageous. Humanities, on the other hand,
were socially helpful. It's almost cliche to say that our lives and education would be
incomplete without some appreciation for the humanities. It is now a low priority due to our
country's activities, tourism, and other forms of entertainment. Societies benefit us because
they inspire us to create art that expresses or shows how we feel. We have different
perspectives in this situation, but we also have better plans.

The humanities so well govern us, not anyone else, intellectually or culturally. And the way
specified describes how we express our uniqueness in the world of economics. For example,
politicians, engineers, priests, and soldiers have unique creative abilities to share—those who
share their expertise in the field and communicate the vision in various ways. A republican act
ensures that the successor wishes to elevate the design strategy.

Most Filipino citizens are drawn to and support the arts, and it is a rich experience to
demonstrate, market, support, innovate, and express our imagination. It causes us to think
critically and imaginatively, and certain decisions may be influenced by the things imprinted
on our thoughts. The humanities' job in our intellectual and cultural lives is to help us govern
ourselves wisely and adequately. They are concerned with concerns and value judgments, as
well as describing the similarities and variances in human experience.
