Explain the Proposed Project Idea
a) Location of Civil dispensary Kabooter Mandi is situated in Union Council Shah Gerdaiz,

Tehsil Multan City, District Multan. The population of whole main Hussain

agahi Bazar, Kala Mandi, back side of Kub Thana near Gurmandi High school
can get the benefit from this facility. This is a very congested area.
Road Access: Civil dispensary Kabooter Mandi is on Main Hussain Agahi
Bazar, Kala Mandi, near Kub Thana and Near Gurmandi high School of the
whole population.
Land Availability and Measurement:
For establishment of Town Hospital has 17 marla of total area

Though the population of Multan District is about 6.2 million. The population
of Multan District is growing day by day and the existing medical facilities in
the District. Therefore, the Upgradation of Civil Dispensary Kabooter Mandi
into Town Hospital is the need of the hour to provide health care facility in
case of routine & emergency.

f) How was the Civil Dispensary Kabooter Mandi into Town Hospital at Multan City.
idea conceived
District Multan, Multan is in line with the Punjab Government’s health
initiatives with particular focus to improve the quality of health care
throughout the Province especially in Southern Punjab. This intervention is
 essential to provide proper health care facilities in this area, because of
increasing patient load at DHQ and Nishter Hospital Multan. Therefore, the
proposed facility is essentially required to synchronize with health care
provisions.
g) Define the Health Facility will have healthcare services i.e. OPD, Labour Room,
project
24/7 Gynae /Normal Delivery Facility, EPI, Family planning
design/scope in

Impact, outcome This hospital will provide service a state-of-art health services to

100 out-door patients per day at a time. It will also play its role in
reducing the capacity gap in this vital area.
Comments of CEO i. For establishment of Civil Dispensary Kabooter Mandi, Town
Hospital has 17 Marla of total area but in the start of the
commercial bazar of the area, which is strongly recommended for
the said purpose.
ii. Civil Dispensary Kabooter Mandi is surrounded by 6 Health
facilities, 1 DHQ with in 1 KM distance and 1 Nishtar Hospital with
in 4.5 KMs as discussed above.
iii. Load on DHQ and Nishter is clearly visible with lower bed
capacity.
Hence by the analysis of above data, Up-gradation of Civil Dispensary
Kabooter Mandi into Town Hospital is inevitable in this region.
