Since the school hascd activities constitute one of the essential components of the programme
having a werghtage of ibur credits, their evaluation becomes important It is, therefore, impresscd
'.rp()n the merltor and thc supervisor to be fairly objective in assessing your performance by the help
ol rating scale.
The asscssment of the school based activities is the responsibility of the mentor and the supervisor.
ln rh is process the mentor will observe thesc activities while they are being conducted/ organized by
you. Ftr each activity, at'ter it is being organized, you will prepare rePorts mentioning.the procoss of
organization, difficulties taced, if any, personal experiences about the con{uct of the activity and
ftedback received from the learners involved. Each report will be authstticatqd by lhe mentor
rvith his/her observations/remarks. The mentor will retain all these reports with him/her and pass
rlrcm on to the superrisor. The supervisor may also iiiiierve soine of the activities at the time they
i,r'c hcing organizcd. The linal assessment wilt be done by tbe supervisor. S/tre will award mark
l() each activily on the basis ofobservation ofthe mentor and hiyher own observations. The supervisor
will usc approJrriate rating scales for awarding marks to the activities conducted by you. Slhe will
also nrake an <lverall rating of your activities in a five point scale on your keenness of mainlaining

and claritv of your rclxlrts. After assessing each activity separately, an overall grade will be calculated
