Introduction

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was born in a small village in Gujarat. He was raised in a low-
income home. His mother worked as a maid, while his father used to sell tea. He had a strong
sense of patriotism and aspired to serve his nation as a soldier since he was a young boy. In his
quest to discover his inner self, he was motivated to become a sanyasi as a follower of Gautam
Buddha and his teachings. His family urged him to settle down and get married, but he had
already decided to become a sanyasi. Following his journey, he returns to Gujarat, joins the
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, and in 1980 is appointed to the Bharatiya Janata Party. People
loved him because of his dedication and willingness to help others. His vision for a united India
led him to Kashmir, where he leads the Ekta Yatra to unite all religions. He also hosted the
Indian Flag at Laal Chowk which was controlled by Pakistan and terrorists at the time. The BJP
was able to win the state elections with a lot of effort, and Narendra Modi was more well-
known than the chief minister. As Modi gains recognition and popularity, CM soon begins to
feel insecure. Atal Bihari Vajpayee, L. K. Advani, and Murli Manohar Joshi, the three men who
founded the BJP, were forced into transferring Modi to a different location. When the
earthquake hit Gujarat in 2001, he came back and helped the victims. He was chosen as
Gujarat's chief minister candidate in the next state election after his efforts were recognized
and appreciated by senior leaders. He faced the Gujarat riots in 2002 shortly after his election.
He asked the federal government for assistance, as well as the governments of other states, but
both were unsuccessful. A terrorist attack on Gandhinagar's Akshardham temple happened
right after the riots were over. Both terrorists were killed in the incident, and Gujarat’s streets
were once more filled with rioters. Narendra Modi personally made a plea for peace on TV
networks to calm the situation and quell the rioters' uprising. The situation was handled
sensitively, the tensions were reduced, and peace was achieved among the citizens. He
continued the historical development of Gujarat despite accusations that he instigated riots and
killed people by opposition leaders.
Although he faced several challenges throughout the development period, raising the
population's level of living was the main challenge. In his efforts to address these issues, Modi
has consistently concentrated on lowering unemployment. He intended to lure foreign
corporations to Gujarat for investment, but when he was denied a visa to travel to the US, it
devastated him. But he discovered another route because of his willingness to grow. Despite his
best efforts, none of the major corporations were interested in making an investment, mostly
because of their history of unethical and shady political practices. Since Modi opposed
corruption and dishonest politics, he had to disprove the assertions made by large businesses
abroad. Understanding the severity of the situation, Modi urged TATA, a prominent Indian
automaker, to establish a facility in Gujarat. He was able to attract investors by making the
documentation procedure efficient. He hosted a global event called Vibrant Gujarat, inviting
major corporations and investors from all over the world.
In the Gujarat election, Narendra Modi won a fourth term as chief minister, and at the time, he
was one of the BJP's most prominent figures in India. The BJP's candidate for prime minister,
Narendra Modi, was the topic of national conversation at the moment. Due to the strong
reputation, persona, and word-of-mouth for Modi to become the new Prime Minister of India,
the opposition party put up several barriers like opening up Godhra riot case. Upon the
committee's finding of his innocence, he was permitted to participate for election. The BJP
listed him as their candidate for Indian Prime Minister. With the confidence he possessed, Modi
chose to compete for election in Banaras, Uttar Pradesh, in the core of the opposition's
stronghold. Because India desired change and because everyone in India was aware of his
achievements in Gujarat, he was almost certain to win. Additionally, there were instances when
he was targeted by terrorists at election rallies, but the courageous personalities never
prevented him from attending the events. Eventually, he dominated in the 2014 general
elections in India and was elected prime minister. He takes his oath as India's 14th prime
minister at the conclusion of the film.
