Pandora's story comes from ancient Greek mythology and was originally written in Hesiod's epic
Work and Time.
Zeus was very angry with Prometheus for stealing kindling. He was determined to punish
mankind. So he ordered Hephaestus, the God of fire, to make a woman named Pandora, which
means "a woman endowed with all virtues". Aphrodite, the goddess of love, gave Pandora
feminine charm. Hermes taught her sweet words, and Apollo taught her musical talent. Finally,
with the help of the gods, Pandora gradually became an impeccable woman. Zeus handed the
box to Pandora, but did not tell her what was in it. Later, Pandora took the magic box and married
Epimetheus, the Penitent.
However, the mystery of the magic box always lingered in her mind. She really wanted to know
the secret. Taking advantage of her husband's going out, she made up her mind and opened the
magic box all at once - only to see a bunch of black smoke burst out of the box with human cries
and float straight to the world. Pandora glimpsed terrible diseases, ugliness, pests and too many
disasters. She was frightened. At a loss, Pandora tried her best to close the box. But it was late,
and the disaster reached the world, and Zeus's treachery succeeded after all.
However, the story is still not over here. The beautiful thing "Hope" quietly placed at the bottom
of the box by Athena, the goddess of wisdom, in order to save the fate of mankind, had no time
to fly out. Therefore, mankind has been waiting for the "Hope" of the magic box to come to the
world one day under the suffering of disease, sin, jealousy and so on. This is the story of Pandora
and the magic box. Many people use it to refer to unfortunate gifts. It is a metaphor for the abyss
of disaster.

Long time ago, the sky and the earth were not separated, and the universe was chaotic. There
was a giant named Pangu. In this chaotic universe, he slept for years. One day, Pangu suddenly
woke up. When he saw that it was pitch black around him, he swung his big axe and slashed
towards the darkness in front of him. Only a loud noise was heard, and a piece of darkness
gradually dispersed.
In the face of torrential floods, Dayu learned from Gun's failure to control the floods, changed
the method of "blocking", and channeled the floods, demonstrating his ingenuity to lead the
people to overcome difficulties. In order to control the flood, Dayu fought with the people outside
for many years, disregarding his personal interests, and "three times passed his house without
entering". After 13 years of flood control, Dayu exhausted his energy and energy, and finally
completed the great cause of flood control.
In addition to the above three, there are many heroes in Chinese mythology who, like
Prometheus, sacrificed themselves for others, dedicated themselves selflessly, and benefited
mankind.
