    WRITING: AN INFORMAL EMAIL

    Dear John,

    I'm glad I can meet you now, I hope this email finds you well.

    As you know, my name is Vanessa. I am 15 years old and I study at The Parador
    High School. I have two brothers and a sister, and I love to spend time with them. I
    wish you could meet them one day. I live in Almería, Spain, so I'm not very used to
    the cold. Can you tell me how the temperatures are in Amsterdam? I’m a little
    worried :’)
    I love to travel and try new things so we will have a great time.

    I made the decision to be an exchange student because I think it could be a great


    challenge for me. I would also like to take this experience to mature and become
    more independent, not forgetting that it is an incredible opportunity to improve my
    English, which makes me very excited!
