Dear Ana,

Thanks for your e-mail. I am glad to know that you are going to study abroad.
I am proud you chose this way. I know it won't be easy for you but you will
definitely do well. Sorry I’ve taken so long to write back, but I’ve been busy
with my exams too and I have not time to check my mail everyday.
Thank you for asking me for help. You're my best friend, how can I not help
you? Especially when it comes to such an opportunity in your life. You know
how hard it was for me to learn English better, but it's not impossible. With a
little effort and goodwill, you will succeed. My dear, you can't learn English
better overnight, but I will give you some tips on how you can learn much easier
and faster. Since high school, I watched English series, I loved hearing the actors
speak, especially their accent. I always subtitled and I paid attention to the words
spoken, reading the translation. In addition, I read aloud many books in English
and when I was in London with my parents, they decided that we would speak
just English... So, from now on, to help you, we will do the same. These would
be the best tricks they will definitely be useful to you.
Now, I would love to know more about this news. How did you think of
studying abroad and in which country will you study? But most importantly,
what did your parents say about that? I think they are very happy that you will
take this step, but also worried... What city will you stay in and what will you
study? I hope you will not choose medicine like your whole family. Get out of
this monotony, ahahah! I'm kidding, I know you've always wanted to be a
successful judge. I am very proud and with this opportunity to study abroad, I'm
sure you will be invincible one day.
I hope you find my advice useful. I know you're a smart girl and you'll
improve your English. I am waiting for new news from you . Stay well dear. I
will keep you in my prayers. Make the best use of your talent while you are
abroad.

Take care,
LORY
