Dear Ann!

How are you? How it’s going? I am really sorry that I haven’t written to you for so long. But I have a reason
for this. And this is gorgeous reason. Do you remember that I filed my application form for Cambridge
University?

So I finally received an answer! And I won a grant to study abroad. I am still can’t believe that it is true. I am
really thrilled, however this is amazing. Moreover, I received an answer yesterday, when I was in café. You
even can’t imagine my emotion at that moment. I suppose, that everybody had heard my cry of happy. It
was incredible. And my parents still don’t know about this gorgeous news. You first who know about it. In
addition, I’m really expect that it is should be incredible. I have waited for so long and finally I have it. I
assume that it is might be the most amusing four years in my life.

We slowly approaching the most important part in this letter, about my opinion regarding advantage and
disadvantages studying abroad. Start with positive things. In my humble opinion, the most charming
advantage, that if you have foreign education, you will have successful career. A lot of people who have a
foreign education have a really good job, and earning a good money. However, course everything can’t be
so excellent, studying abroad have disadvantage too. A lot of students who live and study abroad have this
problem. Thing it you won’t have your friends or your parents. At first time you will be alone in the
unfamiliar country. But it is worth it.

And the last one what I will tell you, it’s about my preparation for studying abroad. I already have rented he
flat, where I will be living. Now I need to buy a new clothes, a new suitcase. And of course I prepare myself
that it won’t be easy, but I need to do it for my future.
