- How should be the relationship between the higher educational institutions and the

governing spheres?

It is good to start by mentioning that Neoliberalism could then be considered as the new

face of fascism, let's remember what this movement is about: Fascism is an ideology, a

political movement and a form of government of a totalitarian, anti-democratic and ultra-

nationalist extreme right character. Therefore, Neoliberalism is practicing a disguised threat

to democracy. With this in mind, the relationship that institutions should have with the

spheres of government should be based on maintaining their commitment to democracy.

Likewise, education should be considered a right as it happens in developed countries and

not a privilege as it happens in our country.

On the other hand, Neoliberalism goes beyond pedagogical structures, it is also a powerful

pedagogical force. In light of this, literate people are key to this fight against neoliberalism,

since higher education is increasingly being privatized, so that few can be educated. That is,

these spheres of government mostly seek that people continue in their bubble of ignorance,

this one of illiteracy created so that the reality of the environment in which they live is

never questioned. To conclude, higher education institutions must continue the fight so that

all have the right to be educated and have critical thinking.
