▪ The decline of oil production from existing source urges alternative energy sources
▪ Environmental issue caused by emissions from oil as fuel increases the usage of natural gas as the cleanest fossil fuel
▪ Promising natural gas global reserves
▪ Natural Gas will be the primary energy source in the 21st century

Natural Gas Advantages

Natural gas discharges less emissions Natural gas produce higher calorific value Reserves amount supports
Emission factors which drives energy efficiency national energy security

Calorific value of natural gas: 12500 kcal/kg

2x Higher than high-calorie coal (6000 kcal/kg) Indonesia’s natural gas reserves are 62,4 TcF, with
proved reserves are 43,6 TcF. The amount can be
relied upon to meet domestic needs and to reduce
1.2x Higher than diesel oil (10000 kcal/kg) fiscal burden due to energy imports.
