two younger sister and one older brother. I love my family so much.
My father is doctor. Due to his busy schedule, he often comes home late. However, I don’t mind it. I know
he loves us and I’m proud of him. My mother is chef. She has own restaurant. She creates delicious food for us
every day. She always shows her affection to us no matter what. My parents are my role models. I learn many
things from them.

Scuba Diving in North Sulawesi
;’z;x Sulawesi lies in the very epicenter of the world’s marine biodiversity in the Indo-Pacific
North
Ocean. It offers more than 100 different dive sites, all rich with tropical marine life, with diving all
[
year around.
It is also very easy to get to, with direct flights from most big towns in Indonesia or from
Singapore 3-4 times a week, depending on the season. There a wide range of facilities available from
5 star accommodation to beach-side cottages. They all have one thing in common, they offer eco-
friendly dive services and facilities.
There are three areas to choose from. The first area is the clear water of Bunaken National
Marine Park. The amazing walls of the park team with thousands of different fish species, with huge
sponges and beautiful corals and countless number of fascinating critters. The park was formally
established in 1991. The total area of the Bunaken National Marine Park is 890.65 km2. Ninety seven
percent of the surface area is overlain by sparkling clear, warm tropical water. The remaining 3% of
the park is terrestrial, including the five islands of the Bunaken, Manado Tua, Mantehage, Nain, and
Siladen. Although each of these island has a special character, it is the aquatic ecosystem that
attracts most naturalist.
The second area on the other side of the mainland is Lembeh Strait and it is known as the
world’s best “muck-diving.” These waters are full of extraordinary marine critters, many of which are
the masters of camouflage.
In the northern tip of the mainland between Bunaken and Lembeh you can find a group of
Tropical Island with white sandy beaches and beautiful coral reef. This is the third diving area of
Bangka Island with amazing soft coral and even more critters.
There is something for every diver in North Sulawesi. Whether admitting the steep coral walls
of Bunaken National Marine Park or exploring the reefs in Bangka area, or diving in the enchanting
world of nature’s little wonders in Lembeh Strait, it is assured that it leaves North Sulawesi rich with
memorable experience.

Lawang Sewu is a landmark of Semarang, Central Java. The name of Lawang Sewu is
from Javanese, it means “Thousand Doors”. The name comes from its design, with numerous
doors and arcs. The building has about 600 large windows. Although there are many doors at
Lawang Sewu the name luckily does not actually mean there are a thousand doors. Lawang
Sewu is on the east side of the Tugu Muda roundabout at the corner of Pandanaran Street and
Pemuda Street in central Semarang.
Lawang Sewu is one of the old Dutch colonial buildings, built in 1904, it was used as a
headquarters for the Nederlandsch Indische Spoorweg Maatschappij, the national raiway of the
Dutch East Indies. Later during the Japanese occupation it was also used as a prison and was
used by the Indonesian government after Indonesia's independence.
This building has a destinct typical Dutch style of architecture. The building consists of
three floors and has two main wings: Building A and Buidling B. The building is equipped with a
ballroom, basement, dining room and a theater. Inside the building you will find long hallways
filled with doors and wooden windows on both sides. The distinct architecture is very suitable for
photo shoots or pre wedding photos and you may find some lucky young couple here posing for
their wedding pictures.
Underneath the building is the basement which is partly flooded to keep the building cool.
The basement was used by the Japanese as a prison for the Dutch, some executions took place
here too. When entering this area you will notice a kind of mystical atmosphere, with traces of
the atrocities of the past still lingering in the air. Or is it just the dark, cold and damp
atmosphere here that makes you shiver?
The very central location makes it easy to visit Lawang Sewu by local transport or taxi. If
you are coming from out of town arriving at the train station, you can take any local bus heading
for Tugu Muda, fee is 5,000 IDR.

Stonehenge
The Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument located in Wiltshere, England. Various stones in the
Stonehenge are fallen or missing, making the original plan difficult to understand.
The first major construction at Stonehenge was a circular ditch, with an internal bank and a smaller
external bank. Archaeologist believe that it was built around 3000 B.C. there were two original entrances to
enclosure a wide one to the north-east and a smaller one on the southern side. The stone of central cluster,
are brought to the site about 2500 B.C are of two types the larger sarsens and the smaller bluestones. The
sarsens were erected to two concentric arrangement.
The inner one is horseshoe of five trilithons (two vertical stones capped by a horizaontal lintel). Of
these, three complete trilithon still stand (one fell in 1797 and was renovated in 1958) and two are partly
fallen. Near the center is the Altar Stone which is mostly buried beneath the fallen stone of the tallest
trilithon.
