Welcome to the MBA life!!


It is going to be tough, and it will only get tougher from here on. However, to help you cope with
the academic rigour and professionalism that this field of work demands, we have planned an
induction program for you. This induction process is a small step in getting you acquainted with
what you can expect in the future. As you know, each student is a stakeholder of XIM University
and is responsible for upholding the prestige of this University and following the appropriate
code of conduct. Keeping this in mind, make sure you do justice to the tasks given to you.
As an MBA graduate, it is important that you adhere to deadlines. Consider this process as
the first step in that direction.
The schedule of the induction programme has been given below:

We expect that you will respect the sanctity of the given timings and the work that we are putting
into making this process as seamless as possible.
The details of the program are given below.
Part 1: A case study
A start-up boom in India in recent years. Scope of agri-techs in this framework?
Outputs:
1. Create a report for the above-given topic, using the APA style format and adhering
strictly to it. Word limit: 1500 max.
Deadline: July 7, 2022. (12:00 AM)
2. Create a PowerPoint presentation based on the findings. Make sure you highlight the
questions asked.
Deadline: July 6, 2022. (12:00 AM)
Part 2: Video
Video -1: A video resume which should be 1-2 mins.
Video -2: Make a video on any social cause where you want to bring awareness.
Output:
Make an interactive video of not more than 120 seconds that depicts the mentioned topic above.
You are free to interpret the theme. It can be an Ad, animation video, a vlog, or anything
developed with your creativity. Meanwhile, the topic should not lose its essence.
Deadline: July 7, 2022. (12:00 AM)
Part 3: Photography
Click 2 - 4 good campus shots and give a tagline for the photo.
Deadline: July 8, 2022. (12:00 AM)
Part 4: PRP
Write a personal reflection paper on the last 4 days of the induction program.
Deadline: July 9, 2022. (12:00 AM)
Word limit: 500 Max
General instructions:
1. The completed assignment is to be submitted via mail to the assigned POC (which
will be notified later).
2. Do not forget to write your name and roll number on the upper right side of the first
page.
3. You are encouraged to discuss the problem(s) with your friends, but plagiarism at
any level will not be entertained.
4. Regarding any queries, you can contact your respective roll seniors.
5. Do ensure to follow the 'APA format' while compiling a report.
6. Please find the attached Orientation Guidelines, which will help you in preparing
the deliverables and the RM 22-24 Orientation Panel having the list of the students for
each panel for the induction program.

Note: We believe every student of XIM University is its ambassador always under surveillance
by the corporate world and alike. Hence, we take efforts to ensure your improvement to uplift
our Institute; this assignment is one of those. Make sure you have made a similar effort.
