Lesson 1: 40 minutes September 19, Monday

This lesson explains the syllabus and all rules that the students need to know before starting Bible
course

Objective

GO: To understand the syllabus of Bible class

By the end of each lesson, the students should be able to:

 Identify course description.

 Recognize unites to be covered this semester.

 Identify assignments, evaluations, and grading scale


Input

 Teacher revisits the purpose of the course and give example why reason is important to study
the Bible.
 Teacher shows the unites to cover this semester
Guided Practice:

 Teacher gives example of how assignments and evaluations will be grade.

Independent Practice

 Students read the syllabus and solve doubts if they have it.

Lesson 2: 40 minutes September 20, Tuesday

This lesson integrates: The Literary Framework of the Bible (Poetry, Apocalyptic, Stories, etc.),
and literary structure (Old Testament).

Objective

GO: To name the main aspects that involved the process of writing the Bible.

By the end of each lesson, the students should be able to:

 Explain the meaning of the Bible Word.

 Identify the two sections into which the Bible is divided.

 Name the literary classification within the Old Testament.


Input

 Teacher revisits the definition and meaning of Bible Word.

 Show a map with the classification of biblical books according to their corresponding
literary classification.

Guided Practice:

 Teacher gives examples of how to sort 5 books of the Bible according to their literary
classification.

 Teacher gives example of how organize the Bible books for Old and New Testament.

Independent Practice
 Students order 5 books of the Bible according to the literary classification to which it
corresponds. Old and New Testament

 Student Order 5 books of the Bible according to their literary classification: Poetic
books, prophets, Gospels.

Conclusion

 One minute paper: Students write in one paper what they learned in the lesson.

Assignment

 Search the following vocabulary: Prophets, epistoles, Gospels, Apostles, papyrus, parchment.

Lesson 3: 40 minutes September 21, Wednesday

This lesson integrates: Sections of the booklet or taxonomy (New Testament), language, and
space in the biblical account.

Objective

GO: To classify the books of the Bible according to their criteria of correspondence

By the end of each lesson, the students should be able to:

 Name the literary classification within the New Testament

 Identify the three languages in which the Bible was written

 Indicate on a Map where the events of the Bible happened, indicating its current territorial
correspondence, mention 4 places.
Input

 Teacher revisits through a leaderboard as the books of the New Testament are divided.

 Teacher it shows pictures and records of the languages in which the Bible was written.

 Show a map where the events of the Bible happened.


Guided Practice:

 Teacher gives examples of how to sort 5 books of the Bible according to their literary
classification.
 Teacher shows how the books of the Bible are classified and/or divided by their literary
style.
 Teacher shows how to classify 5 books of the Bible according to their place where the
events happened in a chronological line.

Independent Practice

 Students order 5 books of the Bible according to the literary classification to which it
corresponds.

 Students order 5 books of the Bible according to his writing language.

Lesson 4: 40 minutes, 22 september, Thursday

This lesson integrates: The Bible as the Word of God: Authorship and Authority

Objective

GO: Mention (reasons) what makes the Bible a reliable book. Explain the Authorship and
authority of the Bible

By the end of each lesson, the students should be able to:


 Explain the concept of Authorship and Authority of the Bible.
 Mention stories, examples, bible texts that show the Salvific Purpose of the Bible.

Input
 The teacher shows several Bible verses that allude to the authoritative and authorship aspects
of the whole of Scripture.
 Show bible stories that show the salvific purpose of the Bible

Guided Practice

 Students are given a handout with Bible verses that refer to authorship and authority of the Bible.
The teacher helps students to classify the first verses that refer to each concept or both.

 Students read some chapters of the Bible and analyze how the prophets understood the Bible as
the word of God.

Independent Practice

 Students complete the chart that classifies different Bible verses that refer to each concept or both.
 Students will read three bible stories given by the teacher and will have to select which of them is
an example of salvation.

Conclusion

 One minute paper: Students write in one paper what they learned in the lesson.
