1. Explained the concept of globalization.
The concept of globalization refers to the economic, financial and political system that unites to the
development of the industries. It explains the changes in the market due to product and service
enhancement through the means of transportation and communication.

2. Describe the role of technology in globalization.

Technology plays a big role in globalization due to the fact that in this generation, it is the rise of
technology wherein almost all of the task we do involves technology. For example, the applications we
use to order things we want, just like the Shopee, Lazada and even the delivery apps like grab and
Foodpanda. Before, we need to go to the physical stores for us to buy the things we need and want but for
this technology, in just few clicks we can now have what we need and want. This role of technology in
globalization was more noticeable during this pandemic because we are not allowed to go out and buy
things in physical stores. In addition, we can have more options to choose from in the apps and may ship
from different country.
3. Narrate a personal experience of globalization.
The use of online shopping app, Shopee, at first, I was hesitant to buy things online because of the news
about scam but then I was pushed by this pandemic to try this and happily I am satisfied with its service.
This app helps me a lot and there are plenty of shops to choose from and they have even shops that are
from other countries such as China. I remember my first order was shipped overseas.

4. Write a summary of the ideas expresses in the whole class discussion about how students’ lifestyles
are affected by globalization.
Since we are in blended learning, the use of gadgets such as phones, laptops, and printers are essential in
learning. These products are from different countries and brought here in the Philippines because of
globalization. Students’ lifestyle now is affected of globalization due to the variety of technique in
teaching using technology.
