know the amount we have, how much it cost us, who the seller is, when we buy

3. Education is the process of facilitating learning or acquiring knowledge, as well

as skills, values, beliefs and habits. One of the processes that leads to education
is done through research, which is crucial for knowledge production.
 4. All people who have an active role in education are called the Educational
Community. Any process that has a training effect on how one thinks, feels or
acts can be considered a normal educational experience.

5. While most everyone knows about the famous stock market, once again, few
actually know what it is, how it functions, and what purposes it serves.

6. Management and leadership are important for good services delivery. Although
the two are similar in some respects, they may involve different types of
outlook, skills, and behavior.
7. A shareholder is an investor who owns one or more shares of stock in a
company. For companies to make significant changes would need approval by a
majority of shareholders. Companies hold annual shareholder meetings.

8. Associating with companies and businesses gives universities access to more

resources to fund their research and diversify their research areas. They also
receive industry feedback and guidance on their inventions helping them to
improve further researches.

Actividad 2: Traduzca los 8 párrafos de la Actividad 1. (2 ptos)

 1. La contabilidad es la parte de las finanzas que estudia las
distintas partidas que reflejan los movimientos económicos y
financieros de la empresa lo que supone una herramienta clave para
conocer en qué situación y condiciones se encuentra dicha
institución.
 2. Si compramos material para hacer sillas de madera,
tendremos que contabilizar esa compra para saber la cantidad que
tenemos, cuánto nos ha costado, quién es el vendedor, cuándo lo
compramos,

 3. La educación es el proceso que facilita el aprendizaje o la

adquisición de conocimientos, así como de habilidades, valores,
creencias y hábitos. Uno de los procesos que lleva a la educación se
realiza a través de la investigación, que es crucial para la producción
de conocimiento.

 4. Todas las personas que tienen un papel activo en la educación

se denominan Comunidad Educativa. Cualquier proceso que tenga
un efecto formativo sobre la manera de pensar, sentir o actuar puede
considerarse una experiencia educativa normal.

 5. Aunque casi todo el mundo conoce el famoso mercado de

valores, una vez más, pocos saben realmente qué es, cómo funciona
y para qué sirve.
  6. La gestión y el liderazgo son importantes para una buena
prestación de servicios. Aunque ambos son similares en algunos
aspectos, pueden implicar diferentes tipos de perspectivas,
habilidades y comportamientos.

 7. Un accionista es un inversionista que posee una o más acciones

de una empresa. Para que las empresas realicen cambios
significativos, se necesitaría la aprobación de la mayoría de los
accionistas. Las empresas celebran asambleas anuales de
accionistas.

 8. La asociación con empresas y negocios permite a las

universidades acceder a más recursos para financiar su investigación
y diversificar sus áreas de investigación. También reciben
comentarios de la industria y orientación sobre sus inventos, lo que
les ayuda a mejorar sus investigaciones.
