WHAT IMPACT DOES FOLLOWERSHIP HAVE ON LEADERSHIP?

The leader is one of the most crucial elements of leadership. A leader is in charge of both the
group's or organization's overarching objective and their subordinates. Leaders are held
responsible for all events, whether they are positive or negative. The followers, on the other
hand, are the second important aspect of leadership. A leader would be useless without
supporters. Because they are the masses that realize objectives, followers are the foundation of
a leader. There are numerous followers, but there is only one leader. There are countless traits
that enable a follower to be the greatest follower they can be in order to be an effective
follower. A positive outlook, which is one of these traits,

The first characteristic, a positive attitude, is important because having the ability and
enjoyment of working with other people in a team is a useful skill. A sincere liking and respect
for other people is a wonderful asset. Being well liked will certainly help in working in teams or
any other social situation. Humor and warmth are effective in order to be a good team
member. Strong leaders seek the input of others in their organization, and strong followers
seek to contribute whenever possible and appropriate.
Strong followers give input and contribute, but they also realize that good ideas can come from
others as well. Listening to what others have to say can be extremely beneficial to the team as a
whole. It is important for followers to listen with their ears and their mind. Any follower ought
to be cheerful and able to suppress all negative ideas. Such a follower will always take the lead
in attempting to resolve any challenges and problems facing him or her, will always distinguish
the wicked from the dead and see the positive side, and will be able to retain a decent outlook
on particular topic.
In addition, Followership is the willingness and the ability of an individual to follow a leader. In
order to be an exemplary leader, he or she should be able to follow in an effective manner.
Leadership is impossible without followers within any field or sector. Since leadership is an
interactive activity, followers and leaders are dependent on each other. It is always advisable
for any leader, who intends to hold a leadership position, to know its followers very well.
