Maria Josefa Gabriela Cariño de silang was a Filipina military leader best
known for her role as the female leader of the Ilocano independence
movement from Spain. She was born on March 19,1731 in Brgy. Caniogan,
Santa, Ilocos Sur and died on September 20,1763 in Vigan City.

She railled Filipino forces to carry on with the war against Spain and
fiercely fought for independence as she bravely led her troops despite
of the overwhelming forces they faced. This bill aims to celebrate the
heroism of a great Filipina heroine as an embodiment of fearlessness &
undying love for country.

She is a brave woman and the Filipina military leader best remembered for her role being a
fearless female leader.

If I could be this person, I can’t handle her situation ,I can’t be a Filipina military leader because I’m not
as strong and brave as her.

Celebrities are people that are well known and easily recognized in society. Often they are known for
their artistic abilities, athletic prowess or good looks. While heroes are peoples who help others in need or
make a change for the better in the lives of those around them. They are admired for their deeds and
qualities.

Always help others and don't ask for anything in return.
