1. Whyd do nations
need heroes?
The reason why heroes are needed and deemed to be recognized to the
nation is that they symbolizes the birth of their country, not just from the fact of
recognition but rather to the attainment of who we are as a nation.... it helps
to gain further the values of being one of its many to the country. And we've
grown and known for their values as heroes and seek what it means to help
other people. It builded the nation that we are now.

Melchora Aquino
Melchora Aquino or known for her nickname as
"Tandang Sora" and was known being "The
Mother of the Katipunan" and 'The Mother of
the Philippine Revolution". She was born on
January 6, 1812, and became known for her
significant contributions and support to the
Katipunan movement.

What was his greatest contribution to his/her country’s history?

Andres Bonifacio, leader of the Katipunan, frequently consulted Tandang Sora

for important decisions. With the involvement of the Katipunan, Her home
became a hub for secret Katipunan meetings, including the 1896 Cry of

What made her a hero?

She became one of the pillars of the revolution and sought out the
revolution with the help of aiding the katipuneros during the revolution. It
made her a hero due to the support the katipuneros have during the
revolution. Without her the injustices of the Filipinos will overtake its
plunder to oppression of many local people in the Philippines

3. Little things you can do to

help our country.
As a college student who has been given an opportunity to a good
university, the little thing that i could do is atleast learn what i know that
could help me in the future. Learning may come from inside or outside the
university and make me both reside on what i could prospect upon what I
know today. This "little thing" can help give you perspective on many
things and help to other people aswell
